Elba is a true natural paradise, perfect both for trekking lovers and for those who want to spend a few relaxing days by the sea.

The beaches here consist of sand and pebbles, and over the years, some have these have become landmarks for the LGBTQ+ community and for lovers of a full suntan. In this article, you will find the most beautiful gay-friendly and naturist beaches on the Island of Elba.

Acquarilli

Acquarilli beach is located near Nordi and is one of the most popular and appreciated by the LGBTQ+ community.

Many small stones form this beach. While there are no services or refreshment points, you can enjoy 100% nature and practice naturism in complete tranquility.

Capo Canata

In the Lacona area, there's a small, black pebble beach named Capo Canata.

To reach the beach, you need to go up steep steps that are accessible from inside the campsite. A diving mask is a must because the seabed is wonderful here!

More than a beach, this is a beautiful cliff located between Fetovaia and Seccheto. As you can guess from the name, these are small natural pools that are created within the granite formations.

To get there, you only need to walk along a short path that runs along the cliff once you've parked your car.

Le Tombe is one of the wildest and most stunning beaches in terms of landscape.

It's located south of the island, near Marina di Campo, and is mainly composed of dark stones. There are no services at the beach and so we recommend that you bring everything you need with you.

To reach the beach, you follow the signs for the panoramic road from Marina di Campo, following the route for about 10-15 minutes. We recommend that you bring rock shoes or closed shoes for the journey.

Barabarca

According to many people, the beach of Barabarca is one of the most beautiful coves in the Stella Gulf, located in the south of the island.

To get there, take the short dirt path and set of steps (the view from here is incredible) that leads to the bay surrounded by white sand and Mediterranean scrub. Once here, relaxation is guaranteed!
